Apps to Organize Your Life

Graceful Spaces’ Favorite Organizational Apps

Our team has personally tested—and totally loves—these time-saving apps.

For Splitting the Bill

Sure you want the miles—but you want to get paid back, too. Splitwise makes it easy. This free app tracks bills and other shared expenses making girls’ trips, classroom gifting and group dinners a breeze. Available on the web, iPhone and Android.

For Gifting

Think of Elfster as a socially appropriate registry option for birthdays and holidays. This free app easily organizes gift giving and receiving. Children can store wishlists which can then be shared with friends and family. Secret Santas will love this app, as it can also be used to “anonymously” organize gift exchanges.

For Keeping Tabs on Your Taxes

An accounting department for the self-employed, Quickbooks Self Employed easily tracks expenses, invoices and estimates tax deductions. It also tracks and organizes mileage for when you’re on the go.

For Tracking Your Macros (or Just Your Meals)

My Fitness Pal has a cult following for a reason. Regardless of your food goals, this app monitors how you’re fueling—and using—your body. Their massive database of food and nutritional information makes it easy to track your daily meals, incorporate your own recipes and count your macros. Log workouts, join their community for support and get inspired by their blogs, all located within the app.

For Working on Your Wellness

The Mind Body app is our go-to for all things wellness-related. Easily access fitness, wellness and beauty offerings around you at any given time (and from any place!). From fitness studios to chiropractors, massage therapists to naturopathic medicine groups and holistic kids programs, it’s all here—and you can store all of your appointments and payment info within the app so everything is in the same place.

For Mastering Your Inbox

If you have an email account, this app’s for you: Unroll.me allows you to unsubscribe from all of the junk that’s cluttering your inbox. Want to keep some subscriptions, but not others? Use the “Round Up” feature to indicate what you’d like to receive and Unroll.me will send you daily updates with all of your promotional messages in one email.

For Remembering Your Logins

With 1Password, you create a digital vault that protects all of your passwords via one master code. This app is well worth the price (Free - $64.99), for the time that it saves and the digital security that it provides.

For Meal Planning and Grocery Shopping

We rely on AnyList as the ultimate shopping partner. Easily create and share grocery lists with your spouse or roommate. AnyList will keep your recipes organized and allows you to quickly input items from emails, websites or blogs, meaning you can spend your time meal planning and not list-making.

For Staying on Top of Your Tasks

Microsoft To Do (formerly Wunderlist) organizes all of your lists and makes suggestions for managing your time, based on what’s on your plate. Share lists with co-collaborators (that’s you, SO!), set due dates and reminders and break your tasks out into manageable steps.
