Our secret to a relaxing vacation? A well-organized suitcase. Cofounder Christina shares her top tips for packing and go-to travel accessories.
Pack With Us
As professional organizers, you might assume that we take a minimalist approach to packing, but it’s quite the opposite! Having everything we need in easy reach translates to a stress-free vacation. With some planning, you can bring whatever you want while traveling and still feel incredibly organized.
While packing, Christina likes to keep the following tips in mind:
Create travel zones. A travel basket keeps essentials like packing cubes, shoe caddies, and tech wraps in one central location. You’d be surprised how much time you can save not searching individual rooms for luggage.
Double your toiletries. If you can, have duplicates of your favorite skincare and makeup products so your travel dopp kit is always packed and ready to go.
Keep a backstock. Put travel toiletries for the family in a designated drawer. When it’s time to pack, everyone can refill their dopp kits. Trust us—no one wants to do the late-night drug store run the evening before a big trip!

Is there anything worse than realizing—mid-flight—that you forgot your headphones at home? To avoid misplaced items, we like to keep one central space for all tech. This drawer in our office houses all overflow cords, headphones, and other accessories. When it’s time to pack, we hit the drawer for everything we need!
Investing in quality organization products for travel is a game-changer. Christina’s dopp kit has been a frequent flyer for years, while her husband’s backpack is a must-have on any excursion. Look for products that have built-in organization sections, or supplement with cord wraps and smaller see-through pouches.
Traveling With Kids
You might be tempted to handle packing on your own, but we say, why not get the kids involved? Making your child a part of the process teaches them essential life skills and simplifies getting ready every day since they’ll know where things are stored.
We like to lay everything out when packing and group outfits together. Roll clothes wherever possible when packing to keep items wrinkle-free and save space. If you’ve created a travel drawer and tech drawer, you can have your child refill their dopp kit and carry on as they pack.
