Hello, Charleston!
We are Graceful Spaces, a luxury organizing firm newly located in your beautiful city. We wanted to introduce ourselves and let you know that we’re here to help you and your clients transform how homes function.
With over five years experience in Austin, TX, we create spaces of peace and purpose for clients through custom, whole-home systems that emphasize beauty, function, and sustainability. From staging pantries and closets to working alongside contractors on outfitting homes to be turn-key ready, we hope to offer unique services that help you serve your clients at the highest standards.
We were thrilled to kick off the opening of our Charleston branch by working with luxury interior designer Megan Molten on her gorgeous home! We created functional zones that maximized available space and blended in seamlessly with her carefully curated decor to compliment her modern aesthetic.

Maximizing space in the pantry with systems for snacks, meals, and baking
Made bottle prep and baby snacking easy and beautiful
Added a charcuterie station in the kitchen and pantry
Added additional, cooking-friendly functional organization to the Kitchen
Made a statement in the office with beautiful, functional decor
The Kitchen
Megan loves how decor can transform a space, while her husband Hugh enjoys having cooking tools close at hand. To blend beauty with function, we relied on a mix of our favorite organization essentials and charming pieces from Megan’s own collection. Functional decor like the artisanal gold oil cruet made room for more items in the pantry and added character to the counter space. We styled the open shelving using pitchers and other statement pieces to provide easy access to everyday dinnerware without looking cluttered.

Often clients want a completely clear counter, but this can be a perfect space for functional decor—items that you use daily but look beautiful. Think cutting boards, coffee stations, oils and vinegars, hand and dish soaps. Consider what your eye is drawn to when you walk into any space. Make sure that it is a beautiful focal point that is easy to keep up.

Many of the items you see in this tour come from Megan's shop. Bringing together her favorite finds from around the world and local Charleston artisans, Megan has curated the perfect collection of organizational essentials and functional decor.
PRO TIP: Under-the-sink storage is limited. Consider removing any cleaners or items that don’t support the kitchen. Keep a backstock? Use the back of the cabinets (the harder-to-reach areas) to keep overflow and place your daily items front and center. The Office
When you love the way a place looks, it makes upkeep much easier! We wanted everything we did in the home to enhance the already meticulously thought-out decor. That meant turning shelving into a showcase for books, supplies, and Hugh’s camera collection in the office. Classic linen boxes with our signature vinyl labels ensured useful items were within reach without crowding the space.
Functional decor is a great way to inspire creativity and productivity without taking away from your design. We swapped out scissors and pens for beautiful pieces from World Market to upgrade the look. We added drawer organizers inside storage boxes to keep small items from bleeding together to create a streamlined look. Every box has a custom label to keep everyone on the same page.
Did You Know?
Deep drawers? No problem! Use multipurpose bins for larger items in larger drawers. They come in size XS to XL, so you’ll always find the perfect fit. For smaller items such as pens and tacks, use deep drawer organizers.
The Pantry
We brought more vertical space to the pantry by changing up the position of the built-in drawers. Baskets with black metal and wood accents pull in Megan’s decor. Stackable can dispensers and clear containers with vinyl labels make it easy to see ingredients at a glance. Don’t be limited. Double-check to see if your shelves are adjustable—Megan was delighted with the extra space we created by moving a few shelves around!
Our secret weapon to maximize space? Decanting. It not only makes the most of your counter or pantry space but helps you monitor your levels and keep things stocked.
For pull-out drawers you look down on, acrylic pantry canisters from the Home Edit make it easy to see everything you have. Megan and her husband love baking, so we created a dedicated zone separate from areas set up for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
PRO TIP: To maximize space in your home, think in levels. We used stackable containers and dividers to make the most of Megan’s deep kitchen drawers and limited pantry space.
