Overwhelmed by the demands of managing such an extensive renovation, they turned to Graceful Spaces for our elevated, full-service organizational expertise. With a goal of streamlining every space, creating cohesive designs, and incorporating all-new, tailored systems, they trusted us to deliver the perfect finishing touch for their reimagined home.

Weeks before travel, our team began the Fresh Starts preparation. The journey begins with virtual consultations to identify the family’s unique needs, pinpointing inventory gaps, and curating products tailored to their lifestyle. From dish pods to small appliances, kids’ crayons to bath towels—every detail was considered.

Home Organization Product Curation & Delivery Process

Once the comprehensive inventory list is finalized, it’s time to start the sourcing process. We handle every aspect of the process, from ordering and quality checks to managing returns, ensuring a seamless experience for the client. When the delivery truck arrived in Nashville, the real magic began. Like a well-oiled machine, our team sprang into action, unpacking and installing everything with precision and care, transforming the house into a fully functional, personalized home.

Coordinating Travel and Execution

Coordinating travel for a project of this scale required the same level of precision and planning we bring to our organizational work. Traveling with a team of 11—including our dedicated Product & Special Services team, our Co-Founders who traveled from Austin and Charleston, and our amazing photographer Regan Morton—was no easy feat. But when you put a group of expert organizers together, even travel becomes an art of efficiency.

Our Product & Special Services team, often referred to as “luxury on wheels,” made their way from Texas to Nashville, bringing with them thousands of household essentials. From careful planning to meticulous inventory management, every detail was accounted for to ensure the family’s new home was perfectly outfitted and move-in ready upon arrival.

Steps to Organizing a Functional & Beautiful Home

Curating products and organizing a whole house is an impressive operation! However, the actual organization doesn’t begin until the second step. Here’s how we break down the Fresh Starts process:

Step One: Setting the Stage

The first step is all about preparation. Our team arrives and unpacks all Fresh Starts products, carefully organizing them for the client’s review during the “Fresh Starts Walkthrough.” This is when we ensure that every detail is considered and approved by the client. Once the client gives the go-ahead, products are dispersed into their designated spaces, setting the foundation for the organization process to come.

Step Two: Zone Planning

Once the stage is set, the real planning begins. Our expert team dives into zone planning, carefully mapping out the most functional, intentional systems for the entire home. With our extensive experience in whole-home organization projects, we’ve refined our strategies to perfection. 

Our team receives ongoing training to maintain the highest standards, ensuring that when we arrive at a client’s home, every move is well-executed and professional. This is where the power of whole-home organization truly shines—when rooms interact and support each other, clients experience what we call the next level of living. The kitchen received significant attention from our Product and Special Services team, who elevated the space to balance beauty and efficiency. Their exceptional work is showcased through thoughtfully selected items from Evermill, Crate and Barrel, Homecourt, Neat Method, and Amazon. The result? A stunningly organized spice station that enhances both the kitchen’s aesthetic and functionality.

Kids Station: Adjustable drawer dividers were strategically placed to ensure easy meal prep and lunch making, giving the children easy access to items they need while allowing them to participate in the kitchen routine. As they grow, the station adapts to their evolving needs, keeping everything within reach but organized in a way that supports their independence.

One of our favorite additions is the on-the-go cocktail drawer. Located in a convenient spot in the kitchen, this drawer includes everything the family needs to prepare cocktails outdoors, featuring a Neat Method basket filled with the essentials: insulated mugs by Yeti, coasters, and all the fixings for a delicious drink. This zone adds a touch of fun to the organization while maintaining style and function.

Yeti and Stanley Stations: We used bin inserts to categorize accessories, making it simple to grab what’s needed and keep the kitchen looking polished at all times.

We also tackled food storage—because it’s time to ditch the mismatched Tupperware! Opting for streamlined, uniform containers not only makes food prep and storage a breeze, but it also helps keep your fridge neat and organized.

When it comes to entertaining, convenience and style go hand in hand, and this hidden entertaining zone beneath the kitchen island delivers both flawlessly. Fully sourced and curated by our Product & Special Services team, it keeps hosting essentials at your fingertips while staying out of sight—perfect for everything from casual family nights to elegant soirées.

 
 

Curated Pantry Organization

The pantry is easily one of our favorite spaces (until we move on to the next room, of course!). Upon entering, your eyes are immediately drawn to the beautiful canisters by Jenni Kayne, which set the tone for this thoughtfully curated space. We created specific zones to ensure both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Cooking Zone: The cooking and meal prep zone in the pantry is designed to support the kitchen in the most efficient way possible. We focused on creating a space where ingredients and tools are easily accessible, making it simple to grab what you need before heading to the kitchen.

Product Spotlight: Jenni Kayne Canisters

The stunning Jenni Kayne canisters, available in multiple sizes, elevate the pantry’s look while also being environmentally conscious. Made with 100% recycled glass and featuring wood sourced from responsibly managed, environmentally conscious forests, these canisters offer both luxury and sustainability.

Coffee Station:In this home, the coffee station is more than just a spot for brewing coffee—it’s a thoughtfully curated space that elevates the family’s morning routine. Our team took great care in fully stocking this area with all the essentials, ensuring everything needed for the perfect cup is within reach. From artisanal beans to elegant mugs and premium brewing tools, this setup is designed to bring both convenience and luxury to every coffee moment.

We also utilized the space above the coffee station to cleverly manage pantry overflow. To maximize the depth of the pantry and ensure everything has a designated spot, we incorporated our go-to solution for pantry organization: Linus bins. Such a simple product that makes a huge impact in a space. These bins not only keep everything tidy and easily accessible, but they also add a streamlined, uniform look that enhances the entire area.

Sourdough Baking Station: A major goal of this space was her goal to make home made bread a few times a week, so we created a whole zone, learned what she uses daily and weekly, what measuring spoons she needed multiples of and what the best way to have this amazing bread be stored in.

Kid-Friendly Snack Zone: Snacks are placed on lower shelves, giving kids easy access to healthy options. Sweets are tucked away higher up, where they have to ask for permission—ensuring a balance of accessibility and boundaries.

PRO TIP: We like to keep counter decor simple and thoughtful. While it might be tempting to use every inch of a zone, leaving surfaces clear (like the entertainment zone countertop pictured) maintains a clean aesthetic and offers plenty of prep space as needed for events.

Can you spot the gorgeous dog water/food bowl? Leave it to our Product and Special Services team to find the most elevated solution for what’s often seen as an eyesore. Thoughtfully curated, this sleek design blends seamlessly into the space, proving that even the smallest details deserve to shine.

 
 

Laundry Room Organization for All Seasons & Reasons

The laundry room is a multifunctional dream space that serves multiple purposes and provides essential support for the family. We optimized every area to ensure it was both functional and organized.

Household Essentials: We took care of all the purchasing of household essentials—everything from pencils and paper clips to lint rollers and Goo Gone. These are the items no one wants to think about when moving into a new home, but having them stocked and easily accessible makes daily life so much easier.

Cleaning Zone: A dedicated cleaning zone was created with all of the essential products neatly organized. This zone includes everything from cleaning sprays and cloths to laundry detergents and specialty cleaners, making it easy for the family to maintain their space.

Medicine & First-Aid: We fully stocked the space with everything from cold medications to thermometers, ensuring that all medical and first-aid supplies were conveniently stored and easy to access.

Wrapping Station Zone: This thoughtful addition is designed to simplify gift preparation and bring joy to every occasion. The zone is equipped with wrapping paper, bows, birthday decorations, and more, keeping everything organized and ready for whenever it’s needed.

Product Spotlight:

Amazon Ladders: One of our favorite finds is the aesthetically pleasing ladder from Amazon. It’s not only stylish but also highly functional, making it a great addition to any laundry or utility space.

Sammart Collapsible Laundry Basket: This product is a game-changer for laundry rooms. The collapsible design makes it incredibly convenient, saving space when not in use, while still offering a durable and functional solution for sorting and transporting laundry.

 
 

A Primary Suite Organized for Wellness

The bathroom was a top priority in this home, as the client’s collection of health and wellness products, especially clean beauty items, are essential to her daily routine. We ensured the space was not only functional but ready for her from night one in the home. From stocking the space with disposable towels by Clean Skin Club to organizing her skincare routine in an easy-to-access way, every detail was considered.

Skincare Organization: In the bathroom drawers, we used acrylic spice drawer organizers to beautifully display her skincare products. Each item is organized according to her routine, allowing her to line them up from morning to night with ease. This brilliant organizational solution not only maximizes space but ensures that she can follow her skincare routine without fuss.

Health & Wellness Priority: This bathroom is more than just a space for daily hygiene—it’s a sanctuary for health and wellness. We took great care in ensuring the bathroom’s design and storage supported her commitment to clean beauty, making it as easy as possible to access her collection.

Maximizing Storage: Modern bathrooms often lack sufficient storage, but we tackled this challenge head-on. Under-sink space was maximized with perfectly sized baskets to store towels and overflow essentials, creating a seamless flow in the space while keeping everything neatly stored and easy to find.

Every part of the bathroom was thoughtfully designed to cater to her lifestyle, from beauty rituals to the storage of everyday necessities, ensuring the space was organized and ready to enhance her well-being from the very first night.

 
 

Family Essentials: Mudroom, Homework Station, & Playroom

Whole-home organization is key to supporting family routines, and each area of the home should work seamlessly together. The mudroom, homework station, and playroom were designed to serve multiple functions, providing structure and support for the family while creating a space that’s easy to maintain.

Organized Mudroom: This functional space is a hub for the family’s daily needs. Labeled baskets for socks, cold-weather gear, and library books make it easy for the kids to grab what they need and get out the door quickly. Everything has a designated spot, streamlining the morning routine. Each child has their own cubby to keep their coats, shoes, and backpacks neatly organized. This helps them become more independent while also reducing clutter in the home.

In this mudroom drop zone, two impactful bins—“Treasures” and “Library Books”—help bring order to everyday chaos. “Treasures” hold sentimental finds like cherished mementos or meaningful trinkets, while “Library Books” ensure borrowed reads stay organized and easy to return. Simple solutions that spark joy for kids and peace of mind for parents!

An adhesive bin labeled “School Work” helps keep loose papers and important assignments in check. Perfect for permission slips, weekly homework, or artwork you’re not quite ready to file away, this simple solution ensures schoolwork stays organized and easy to find—no more last-minute scrambles!

Homework Station: Designed as the go-to space for school tasks, the homework station is equipped with everything the kids need to stay organized and focused. We set up a dedicated area where they can access school supplies and create their best work.

Playroom Organization: The Nashville Nest Playroom is a dream come true for little ones and parents alike. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a whimsical design brought to life by Claire Kennedy and her talented team—a space truly designed to grow with the children.

We leaned into functionality and style, incorporating gorgeous baskets with magnetic labels that allow categories to be easily swapped out as the kids’ interests evolve. Each labeled category was thoughtfully created to be as specific as possible, making it simple for the children to know exactly where everything belongs.

LEGO storage is one of our most frequent questions, and our approach always considers what’s practical and sustainable. For the Nashville Nest, we opted for broad categories, using baskets labeled “LEGOs” to store specific sets or creations. Instead of organizing by color, which can be difficult to maintain, we find keeping it simple is a far better long-term solution for families.

Flexible Play and Study Zones: The playroom is designed to transition with the kids as they grow, with easy access to both creative activities and school materials. It provides the perfect space for both play and study, allowing for a natural flow between the different areas of the home.

 

Kids Closet & Bathroom Organization

For families with young children, it’s essential that each space in the home supports their needs as they grow. We paid special attention to every detail, ensuring the kids’ closet and bathrooms were set up for ease of use and functionality.

Designed to make getting dressed effortless, we used picture labels on the drawers to allow even younger children to independently choose their clothes. We created separate zones for each child’s items, ensuring that everything from socks to jackets is neatly organized and easy to access.

Picture Labels for Kids’ Closet: For the younger ones, picture labels on closet drawers help them identify where their clothes belong, giving them the tools to maintain their own space and promoting responsibility.

The upper cabinet serves as high-up seasonal storage, keeping out-of-season clothing neatly tucked away. Meanwhile, coordinated outfits are hung together for easy grab-and-go access, making busy mornings a breeze.

Product Spotlight: Cricut Joy Machine

The Cricut Joy Machine is our go-to tool for creating custom, personalized labels that make organization effortless. We use the Cricut for all our labeling projects, including the picture labels in the kids’ closets

To make school mornings seamless, we incorporated labeled clothing dividers marked Monday through Friday. These dividers help the family pre-select uniforms for the entire week, keeping everything organized and ensuring a stress-free start to each day.

Fully Stocked Bathrooms: We made sure the bathrooms were stocked and organized to ensure the family could settle in with ease. From towels and toiletries to bath toys, everything was carefully planned to meet the needs of the kids. For the children’s items, we curated Evereden products, known for their clean, non-toxic ingredients, offering gentle care for the little ones. The layout and storage solutions are designed to evolve as they grow, ensuring the space remains functional and stylish for years to come. Every detail was considered to create a bathroom that not only meets the immediate needs of the family but also anticipates the future.

 
 

The Essentials & Luxuries for Guest Spaces

Curating guest spaces is a hallmark of Graceful Spaces—it’s something we’re deeply passionate about. In the Nashville Nest guest suite, we made sure the space was not only functional but thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming and luxurious experience for visitors. 


We outfitted the suite with all the essentials they’d need during their stay, ensuring everything was easy to access and impeccably organized. To elevate the experience, we added little luxuries like Le Labo travel-size kits, giving the space an extra touch of indulgence. After all, it’s the finer details that turn a guest room into a memorable retreat!

We created a thoughtfully organized “command central” to house extra linens, travel essentials, and all things tech. This streamlined zone ensures that the family can effortlessly grab what they need, whether it’s a fresh set of sheets, a prepped suitcase for a weekend getaway, or a fully charged device. By combining functional storage with intentional design, this space is a prime example of how Graceful Spaces transforms everyday necessities into a cohesive, organized system. It’s the perfect blend of efficiency and elegance, tailored to meet the needs of a busy household.
