The Elevated Home Finds I’d Buy Again (At Every Price Point)

Last Updated: May 2026 —I update this list as I find new favorites and retire things that no longer earn their place.

I’ve been curating our home for over 15 years, and what I value most now is timelessness and durability.

No matter the price point, I want every purchase to earn its place — pieces that hold up beautifully, function well, and make a home feel more layered and lived in over time. I’m far less interested in trends than I used to be. What I want now is to buy something once, love it for years, and never feel the need to replace it.

There’s a version of home design that looks beautiful in a flat lay and completely falls apart in real life. And then there’s the version I care about most: a home that feels beautiful because it actually works for the people living inside it. Kids, dogs, muddy shoes, Texas heat, salty Charleston air, and all the real moments in between.

These are the finds that have truly stood the test of time in our home — the pieces I’d buy again tomorrow without hesitation. The ones I constantly repurchase for different spaces, text to friends, or pull out to show someone when they ask, “Wait…where is that from?”

Florals, Styling & Collected Details

It’s often the smallest details that end up making the biggest difference in how a home feels. Florals, little styling moments, and unexpected collected pieces are what bring warmth, character, and personality into a space over time. None of these are meant to overwhelm a room — they’re the subtle layers you notice in passing, the things that quietly make a home feel more intentional and lived in.

Here are a few of the small touches we’ve added throughout our home that don’t demand attention, but consistently make everything feel more finished, more personal, and a little more like us.

Florals are one of the easiest ways to make a home feel layered, warm, and intentionally styled. I’ve tried everything from affordable Amazon stems to larger investment arrangements, and honestly, both have earned a permanent place in our home for different reasons. These are the florals I come back to over and over again — the ones that instantly make a space feel softer, more elevated, and more finished.

Amazon Faux Florals

These are one of those surprisingly good finds that people always assume are real. I originally ordered them as an easy seasonal filler and ended up using them all over the house because they instantly make a space feel softer, brighter, and more finished without any upkeep. They’re simple, affordable, and always make a space feel fresh and finished.

Cailini Coastal Faux Florals

These are genuinely more of an investment compared to Amazon stems, but they make such a statement that I stopped second-guessing the price after the first week. Larger, impactful arrangements can completely change the feeling of a space, and these are the kind of florals that somehow always look real. I put these out when I want a room to look like it was styled on purpose.

Gold Spoons & Scoops - Under $30

This is the kind of tiny detail that makes everyday routines feel more intentional. Whether it's your morning coffee, protein powder, or bath salts, having beautiful little pieces you use constantly shifts something subtle in how you feel about your day.

Dog Hooks That Look Like Queso & Brie

These might be one of my favorite finds in the whole house, functional, playful, and completely specific to who we are as a family. They hold leashes and bags near the door, and they make me smile every single time I walk past them. Finding pieces that feel personal rather than just pretty is always the goal.

Verse of the Day Watercolor Card

One of my favorite things in our home isn't even a major decor piece. It's a simple watercolor card with a seasonal verse that we keep in the pantry, a space I move through constantly. It helps me begin the day more intentionally, even in the middle of ordinary routines.

Framed Artwork for Shelves

Shelf styling is deceptively hard, and finding framed art in exactly the right size is even harder. These pieces have moved with us through multiple rooms and always layer beautifully. If shelf styling frustrates you, these are where I'd start.

Beautiful Ladder for Tall Cabinets

Functional pieces are always part of a real, lived-in home. The goal isn't to hide them; it's to find versions that add something to the room. This ladder adds warmth and character instead of just being an eyesore we tolerate.

Statement Bowls That Instantly Elevate a Space

One of the quickest ways to add character to a space is by incorporating a statement bowl or sculptural vessel. Whether it’s styled on a coffee table, layered onto an open shelf, or used as a centerpiece on an island or dining table, it instantly brings in texture, shape, and a collected feel.

I also love pairing this idea with a beautiful floral arrangement or investing in a standout planter or vessel that can be reused throughout the home. Over time, these become the kinds of pieces that quietly build character in a space — a mix of investment finds and thoughtful, well-chosen accents that make a home feel more layered, personal, and intentionally styled.

One of the things I’ve learned throughout this design process is that the smallest selections often have the biggest impact.

When you’re choosing wallpaper, investing in custom furnishings, layering in artwork, and thoughtfully designing each room, it’s easy to overlook the everyday pieces that quietly live within those spaces. But those details matter more than you might think.

Take a magazine file, for example. Functionally, nearly any option would do the job. But after investing so much into creating a home that felt intentional, layered, and elevated, I didn’t want a basic office supply sitting on my desk competing with everything else we’d carefully selected. Instead, I chose a linen-covered option by Stackers that complemented the room and contributed to the overall aesthetic.

It’s a small detail, but that’s exactly the point. The most beautiful homes aren’t defined by a single statement piece. They’re shaped by hundreds of thoughtful decisions that work together to create a cohesive experience. When even the functional items feel considered, the entire home feels more polished, collected, and complete.

The Investment Pieces That Were Absolutely Worth It

While I love a good Amazon find, there are certain pieces in our home that we’ve intentionally chosen to invest in over time. These are the items that anchor a space — whether it’s a piece of furniture we use every day, artwork that brings warmth and personality to a room, or special decor pieces that feel like the finishing layer in a space.

Each one was selected for a reason: durability, function, and the way it contributes to how a home feels and lives over time. These are the kinds of pieces that don’t just fill a room — they define it.

Pottery Barn Outdoor Furniture

This furniture has survived brutal Texas heat, relentless sun, and Charleston's salty coastal air, and still looks almost new. Outdoor furniture is one of the few categories where quality makes an enormous difference. Buy once, maintain forever.

Wallpaper in the Girls' Rooms

Wallpaper in the girls’ rooms completely transformed the space in a way that still feels surprising every time I walk in. It added instant softness, personality, and a sense of story to their rooms that paint alone could never achieve.

It’s one of those rare updates where the impact far outweighs the effort or cost — a simple change that made the entire space feel more layered, thoughtful, and truly theirs.

Boll & Branch Sheets - Most Asked About

We upgraded to Boll & Branch sheets in both our primary and guest bedrooms, and they genuinely make the bed feel like a luxury hotel experience every time. I initially hesitated over the price, but after sleeping on them at a friend’s house, I ended up ordering them the same day — it was one of those instant “you can’t go back” moments.

Worth the Upgrade

Blue Swivel Chairs in the Living Room

These are one of those rare “smart buy” pieces — not necessarily high-ticket, but incredibly high-impact. They deliver the kind of visual weight and functionality that make a space feel intentionally designed, without the investment-level price tag. They completely transformed our living room and are still one of the most frequently asked-about pieces in our home.

entryway pieces virtually designed by Oyster Creek Studios

When it came time to furnish our own entryway, I turned to a design firm I’ve admired for years: Oyster Creek Studios. Through their virtual interior design service, they transformed a blank, unfinished space into a warm, layered welcome with a thoughtfully curated design board that took all the guesswork out of shopping. While many of the pieces were investment purchases, this was one space I was willing to prioritize. It’s the first room guests see when they walk through our front door, and the space that welcomes us home every day.

The experience reminded me that great design isn’t about following trends; it’s about creating a home that feels collected, personal, and timeless. I’m sharing more about the virtual design experience and all the details from the finished space in this blog.

ETU Home Scalloped Cutting Boards

These are the kind of kitchen pieces that earn a permanent spot on the counter. Beautiful enough to feel intentional in your everyday styling, but practical enough to reach for constantly. They add that subtle layer of warmth and texture that makes a kitchen feel more considered, without needing a single renovation.

A Final Note

The best home purchases aren't the trendiest or the most expensive. They're the things that quietly support your life every single day, pieces that help your home function better, feel calmer, look more beautiful, and hold up through all the real moments happening inside of it.

These are the items I'd buy again tomorrow. The ones I recommend constantly. The things I pull out to show friends because they've genuinely made our home better.

And those are always the purchases worth making.

Drop your email below, and I'll send new finds straight to you when something earns its place on this list. (And yes, I'll tell you when things get discontinued or I find something better.)

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

If you’ve been dreaming about a space that feels this good, one that’s beautiful and actually works for your real life, that vision is already in you. It just needs the right support to come alive.
